FAQ

(Frequently Asked Questions)

Do you take reservations?
For dinner: yes. Just call 504 522 7222, and we’ll reserve your table.
For lunch and brunch: no. First come, first served.

I see that EAT is BYOB. Is there a corkage fee?
There’s no corkage fee for your first bottle of wine. For the second bottle and beyond, however, there’s a charge of $15 per bottle, per table.

Do you host private parties at EAT?
EAT is a great party venue, and we’re happy to host groups of 25 – 50 people during dinner service. (No rental during lunch/brunch, please.) EAT offers range of prix fixe menu options for such events, and we can arrange live music, too. All we ask is that you leave the confetti and boas at home. (Long story — ask us sometime.) Call us at 504 522 7222, and we’ll be happy to discuss arrangements with you.

Is there anything we need to know about lunch/brunch service?
With EAT’s big picture windows and great location, lunch and brunch offer a great opportunity to enjoy our delicious menu and enjoy a lovely view of New Orleans’ historic French Quarter. However, it can get a bit busy, and we don’t take reservations, so please be prepared to wait outside. You must be present to be put on the waiting list, and we only seat complete parties.

Can you tell me a bit about EAT’s catering service?
EAT offers pick-up, delivery, and full-service catering across the city. On top of the usual menu expenses, we charge a $40 fee for delivery, and $150 per server for full service, with additional fees for plates, napkins, utensils, chaffing dishes, and so on.
